Sharon Taylor is a Creative Strategist specializing in social media and with a varied background spanning PR, editorial, content and influencer partnerships.
After spending many years at sea as an officer in the Merchant Navy in the United Kingdom and on large marine projects, Sharon developed a deep respect for the ocean and its inhabitants.
Previously In her role with Ocean Elders, Sharon delivered social media and communications initiatives, this experience with world leaders in ocean conservation further deepened her commitment to creating an abundant and sustainable future for our oceans.
She is the Co-Founder & Director of 32 Degrees South Group - specializing in bespoke communications solutions, fundraising, events, sponsorship, social media, PR, website and technology solutions.
Sharon worked as Marketing Manager for West Tech Fest, a week-long innovation festival in Western Australia. She also managed the communications and marketing channels for the Rotto Tech Fest, a platform for igniting social impact, technology and investment solutions addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Sharon worked for an Australian Senator assisting the Senator and contributing effectively to the delivery of best practice communications initiatives, community engagement and events.
Sharon studied a Bachelor of Business at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. Photography of nature and animals is one of her passions.
